Casa Nautika’s Awareness Gems

Thank you for respecting Casa Nautika’s Awareness Gems.  Maintaining this flow will allow all who share space here to reach their highest frequency and receive the most out of their stay.  The greatest teacher here is silence, which allows us to tune in more deeply to ourselves, the resonance of the natural world, and her music.  Due to proximity of the spaces, what may not seem loud to one, may be disrupt the frequency of another. Please be mindful at all times, everywhere.

The flow will shift when we are all in a group practice, ceremony, etc.  Below are useful for all other times.

Silence

  • Quiet hours:   8:00pm through 8:00am.  Whispering/low voices are strongly encouraged.

  • When the temple space is in use, move on your toes or ball of foot. Heel to toe creates a stomping vibration that disrupts the overall frequency of the space.

  • Close doors as gently and quietly as possible.  Twist handle as you close door fully and twist back when door is fully shut.

  • Music in all forms are beautiful.  However, sound travels to all spaces here.  If you would like to practice, you may use the temple space at a very low volume, while minding and maintaining the quiet hours. Thank you for sharing your heart and gifts.

  • We will also share silent space at other times determined by the needs of the group and individuals (for example, after ceremony, during one’s need for extra rest, and healing sessions).

Cleanliness

An impeccably clean environment allows for celebratory Zen-like flow.  This is your/our home during your stay. Be aware of the spaces you come in contact with.  Please keep common areas free of personal items currently not in use. Please respect altar spaces, sacred objects and return all community resources (dishes, yoga supplies, etc) to their proper place after use.

In general, ask yourself, “What looks out of place? What can be done to allow for a greater flow of energy?”

Feel free examples:

  • to bring an empty mug up from the temple, even if you didn’t drink out of it.

  • to sweep the yoga deck.

  • to wash and dry dishes
